My Dearest Readers!
Ever since I was young I have held a certain fascination for science fiction novels. It was my father who first introduced me to the genre with Orson Scott Card’s “Speaker for the Dead”; needless to say, the book swept me away. While Science Fiction comes in all sorts of forms ranging from dystopian to adventure, one thing it holds in common is the ability to explore familiar social questions in settings far removed from present reality. The following are some of my favourite titles.
- “Binti” by Nnedi Okorafor
- “The Beast with Nine Billion Feet” by Anil Menon
- “I, Robot” by Isaac Asimov
- “Robot Visions” by Isaac Asimov
- “The City and the Stars” by Arthur C. Clarke
- The Collected Stories of Arthur C. Clarke
- “Against the Fall of Night” by Arthur C. Clarke
- “Dune” by Frank Herbert
- “Ender’s Game” by Orson Scott Card
- “Speaker for the Dead” by Orson Scott Card
- “Xenocide” by Orson Scott Card
- Ender’s Shadow by Orson Scott Card
- “HWJN” by Ibraheem Abbas
- “A Mosque Among the Stars: An Anthology of Islamic Speculative Fiction” by Muhammad Aurangzeb Ahmed and Ahmad A. Khan
- “Islamicates Volume I” by Muhammad Aurangzeb Ahmed
- “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margaret Atwood
- “The Testaments” by Margaret Atwood
- “The Host” by Stephanie Meyer
- A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle
I hope you guys enjoy these! Happy reading!
Love!
