My Dearest Readers!
I have done something I never expected I would ever do. I have sorted my books by colour. And while this is a trend which has been quite popular in the recent years, I have never seen myself as someone who would ever follow it. I have always been someone who organizes their books alphabetically by author, and frankly speaking, it has always seemed to that organising books by colour would be highly impractical. Nevertheless, I decided to give a go. And here are the results!
I have a small shelf with limited space so I had to sort my books into coloured piles rather than creating the rainbow look that has been trending on social media. I quite like the look however, I will probably return to sorting my books alphabetically or by genre. While colour coding my books has made my living room look more aesthetic, sorting them by alphabet or genre makes it easier to find a specific book.
How do you guys prefer to sort your books?
