My Lovely Readers!
Ever since the birth of my daughter, my reading has been left on the back burner and my to-be-read pile seems to be increasing day by day. However, now that Amal is nearing the six month mark and has started sleeping through the night I plan to tackle a few of the titles on my tbr pile.
Here are some titles I plan to finish over the summer.
- My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier
- Dune by Frank Herbert
- Villette by Charlotte Brontë
- The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Graham
- A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle
- The Gatekeeper’s Wife by Rukhsana Ahmad
- Hermitage by Aamer Hussein
- Another Gulmohar Tree by Aamer Hussein
- A History of Insects by Yvonne Roberts
- The Trivium: The Liberal Arts of Logic, Grammar and Rhetoric by Sister Miriam Joseph
- The Well-Trained Mind by Jessie Wise and Susan Wise-Bauer
- The Well-Educated Mind by Susan Wise-Bauer
I have no illusions as to whether I would be able to tackle all of these books over the summer with a baby on my hands. However, I hope I will be able to get through a few of these at least.
Wish me luck!
Much Love!
